How to know if you are aligned with your highest path

Knowing myself, I know when I am in alignment. I know when the path I am taking, the person I am talking to or the thoughts I am thinking are in alignment with my destiny. How? I feel tremendous joy, excitement and curiosity about the present and the future.

When we are off our path, we feel stressed out. We feel out of sorts. Nothing works. We keep hitting our toe on the corner of the bed. We keep missing important calls, or getting headaches. We have bad experiences at work or with friends. The list goes on.

But when we are in alignment, everything flows with minimal effort. We get a new client. We meet new friends that we have tons in common with. We wake up and we GLOW. We suddenly see the path in front of us naturally and organically unfolding, in our best interest.

That being said, if you aren't sure you are on the right path, here are 5 signs that should be showing up in your life indicating that you are, in fact, on your highest path.

1. You are meeting a ton of cool people in your circle of interest

There is an aura about you. This aura, this energy that circles your body is magnetic. You are so authentically you that people feel drawn to you from all walks of life. In particular, you are meeting tons of cool people that have the same interests and passions in life. This is helping you grow in ways you never thought possible, as you team up with your new friends to create said magic. Whether that is poetry, painting, singing, business, or all of the above, you have found a tribe that helps you grow and thrive in your hobbies and passions.

2. You feel good waking up in the morning

When you wake up, the first thought in your mind is one of excitement. It goes something like "what will the universe offer me today" or "I am so grateful for another day". You are happy to experience every moment of every day, because you are living your passion and it shows. You're glowing, from morning to night, and even if you hit a few road bumps, you have the wisdom and knowledge to overcome anything that comes your way.

3. You are living and breathing your passion

If someone were to ask you "what are you most passionate about?" you would not miss a beat to answer that question. You know who you are, and what you're about. You feel comfortable expressing yourself and expressing what it means to be you. You dress the part, talk the talk, and walk the walk. Everything in your life seems to fit together, like pieces of a giant puzzle, or images in a mosaic. People know you as "that girl/guy who loves ____" and you love it.

4. People come to you for advice

This is a good one. You will know if you're really thriving in your area of interest when people come to you for advice. At this point, you are really living for your passion and your path has become your art. People love coming to you to give you compliments or ask for advice in whatever you are creating in the world. You feel amazing that you can easily offer information about your passion and you can express your knowledge with ease.

5. You feel immense joy during acts of service

The last sign is that you have started to live in service to others, instead of service to yourself. Think about this. The whole universe is one entity. We are all one. That means to be able to live your fully actualized self, and to be on your highest path, is to find something you are AMAZING at and to offer it to the world. We live in symbiosis with others, so whatever you are meant to do will be something that contributes to the whole.

That being said, if you haven't found your path : don't worry. Some people only find their true passion later on in life. Keep exploring the world and what it has to offer. When you find what you are meant to do, your soul will let you know.

You will feel the little nudge in your heart. You are meant to do something wonderful, and the world would not be the same without you in it. So thank you for being who you are.
