Becoming a clear vessel for your soul

One thing that I’ve noticed is that being raised in this world creates a lot of beliefs about what we cannot do. And what this does is really limit our potential as creative beings.
If we are born to be a musician, but we are raised in a family that values traditional career paths over careers in performing arts, that restricts our spirit’s energy level because we are suppressing what we were naturally born to do.

We all have inclinations and hobbies that make us feel alive. When we suppress these interests because we feel that exploring them is wrong or a waste of time, what we are actually doing is saying no to who we are.
We are telling our spirit that it is wrong to love what we love, and to have interests outside of the limitations that we have been confined into.
When we are children, these filters and self-limitations are completely absent. We scream when we feel like screaming. We dance when we feel like dancing. And we cross the line without thinking twice. That is because we have not yet been socialized into any restrictions about our reality. We don’t yet have that mental list of things to do, and things not to do.
It is a beautiful experience to be able to live fully and freely without having that inner voice that says “don’t say that” or “keep drawing within the lines”. Of course, we have to have some amount of self-control to maintain a society, but a lot of the self-control and behaviours that we have been required to have is totally unnecessary, especially if we want to grow as a culture and evolve in our way of thinking.

What I suggest as an antitode to these controlling mental patterns is to practice acting on your natural instincts, instead of allowing that inner voice to always tell you what to do. For example, if your mind is telling you to stay inside because “there’s no reason to go outside in this weather” but you feel the need to go get some fresh air. Purposefully listen to your initial desire and go outside. Don’t overthink it.
I can honestly say that listening to my instincts has never felt more liberating.
This practice of following your heart’s true desires in a smaller context will help you make better life choice in more complex situations. Choices that are aligned with who you truly are at a soul level. Break away all the “shoulds” in your head that have been holding you back.
This will support your soul's mission to actualize itself on earth and allow your spirit to use your body as a clear vessel and conduit for higher creativity. There is nothing more beautiful than a human being that has completely embodied themselves.

The age of filters on top of filters and editing our personalities out is coming to an end, and we are called to come forth as we truly were meant to be, embodying the spark that we haven’t fully expressed since childhood. We are asked to become a true embodiment of our spirit and to not restrict the flow of our individual light.
To be exactly as you are. Isn’t that a relief? - Mandy xox
