Release your grip

Hello my beautiful readers <3 !

Today I was guided to write about a specific topic. I asked my higher self what information would be useful to share at this time to help other people who may come across my page, and this is what came through.

A lot of us are suffering because we are intensely focused on one problem (or multiple problems) in our lives, and we feel like we are stuck, like there is no way out. We can't find a solution for this specific issue. Our minds are repetitively going over this problem and the details associated with it, whether it is something that happened, something we feel like we aren't doing right now, or our anxiety about the future. Whatever it is, our mind is obsessing over this. And we are done feeling powerless.

What we need to understand is that our consciousness is very powerful and wide, and it carries a ton of voltage. When we funnel down our conscious energy and ask it to focus on one or two situations, we are essentially asking our brain to hold all this energy into one tiny neurological area. That is pretty much the equivalent of using a magnifying glass and burning off a single ant with the power of the sun. It's going to burn you out.

What we need to do in this case, is to take a step back. A big step back. We need to create a meaningful distance between us and our problems. What you can do practically is to visualize yourself letting go of the ledge that you are so firmly holding on to. You are holding on for your life, but most of the time, there is no cliff. The ground is just an inch below your feet. When we let go of this fearful grip, we realize we were safe all along, and that there was nothing to fear.

We need to let our consciousness take more space so it can distribute it's energy more equally throughout our brain. This sounds very technical, but that is why meditation and solitude is such a powerful tool. Don't underestimate the power of sitting in silence. You don't even need to actively do anything to make your consciousness take more space, it happens naturally through making the choice to surrender.

Silence is so simple, but it allows you to gain perspective by releasing your grip on a situation and taking a bird's eye view on your experience as a whole (the good and the bad). This is how you access all of your wisdom, intellect, compassion, and understanding. By being completely receptive. By surrendering to what is. We gain so much insight though stillness, because we aren't exhausting all of our energy on overanalyzing all of the (usually meaningless) details.

We also get to create space for all of our being through this practice. This is how we develop the ability to hold the totality of who we are, and reclaim our energy as powerful creators. We can harness the full spectrum of our awareness by consciously choosing to let go of our need to control everything that is happening. From this level of consciousness, we can start to understand that even the most unfortunate events serve a purpose, and that the universe is working right beside us for the greatest good.

I hope this brought some perspective and peace to you today. I wish you all of the best things in life <3 - Mandy
